David graduated in 1970 with a BSc in Pharmacy and was admitted to the Register of Pharmacists in 1971, retiring in 2023. He qualified as a Homeopath with an LCH from The College of Homeopathy in 1991, since when he has built a successful international practice now spanning 30 countries — bringing together over five decades of expertise across pharmacy and complementary medicine.

In 1996 he established the Homeopathic Helpline, providing acute homeopathic advice (from 9am to midnight, every day) to patients unable to reach their usual practitioner for immediate consultation. During his stewardship of nearly 30 years, the Helpline helped over 350,000 callers. He passed the Helpline on in January 2026.

David has featured in several radio broadcasts helping to bring homeopathic knowledge to a wider public audience, even running his own programme on a local internet station. He has lectured in the UK, US and Japan, participated in online interviews and seminars, written for a number of magazines, and now writes a monthly column for What Doctors Don’t Tell You.

A founding Director (2001) of the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths (ARH), he has represented the organisation at many meetings and committees — from the House of Lords All Party Political Group on Complementary Health to The Integrated Healthcare Collaborative — and oversees their political affairs.
